A small innovation
We spent two years and $214,000 figuring out how to keep our pruners sharp twice as long without coatings that would pollute your soil. Then we put it on every tool, no upcharge. Because that's the point.

Earth & craft
We don't make tools to throw away. Every product is repairable in our shop, by mail, free for the original owner. We've extended the life of more than 8,000 tools since 2014 — and we've lost money on most of them. We're fine with that.
Re-forge
Send it back. We re-forge, re-handle, and ship it home for $0.
Local steel
1095 carbon from a Pennsylvania mill, 4 hours from our shop.
Take-back
End of life, mail it back. We melt it down for the next batch.
Lifetime promise
If we made it, we'll fix it. If we can't, we replace it.
Wholesale + consultation
We're picky about where the tools end up. If you run a garden shop, nursery, or farm-stand we'd love to see — get the wholesale lookbook by the next post.
